LARSA 4D Overview
LARSA 4D is the one solution for staged construction and time-dependent analysis of
bridges and buildings. Bsed on a rock-solid, truly 3D analysis engine, and with an
intuitive and modern user interface, LARSA 4D is an essential tool for any
construction project.
Time is the focus of LARSA 4D because it is an integral part of many current projects.
LARSA 4D's Staged Construction Analysis is the most advanced time-dependent analysis
in any software package, allowing the user to model not just the step-by-step activities
that will take place to build the structure, but also to model time-dependent material
effects, and to run analysis scenarios -- pushover, collapse, and live load -- at any
point in the construction sequence.
LARSA 4D's user-interface is easy to learn, quick to use, and still more powerful than comparable
software. All project data is shown and editable both through spreadsheets and graphics, making
the user interface a best-of-both-worlds compared to alternatives. LARSA 4D also has infinite-level undo/redo, copy/paste to and from Excel, and modeling tools including meshing, generation, templates, and advanced drawing.
Other advanced features include 3D post-tensioning tendons, seismic and inelastic elements,
bridge geometry control, and influence lines and surfaces. Read more below about these features.
Our Client Base
Projects world-wide are making use of LARSA 4D. Throughout the United States, bridge projects
are using LARSA 4D's influence line and surface support for the AASHTO LRDF and LFD codes, and
building projects are making use of progressive collapse analysis and hysteretic springs. LARSA
software is the company standard at HDR and the standard in offices of Parsons Brinckerhoff and
other renound firms. In India and the United Kingdom, new segmental and cable-stayed bridges are being designed by Halcrow using LARSA 4D's cables and tendons in a nonlinear analysis.
The LARSA team is continually developing and improving our software, staying one step ahead of our users' engineering needs. When you're ready to make the jump to the fifth dimension, we'll be waiting on the other side.
