LARSA 2000 requires a license to run. Licenses come in three forms: standalone dongles (parallel or USB port keys), license servers for networked environments, and standalone LarsaLicense files for single users, temporary licenses, and demos. The LarsaLicense system is described here.
1. Get a Website Account
Only registered users can gain access to our product evaluation licenses.
2. Submit a Locking Code
Before you can be issued a LarsaLicense, you must submit a Locking Code for the computer on which you will run LARSA 2000.
Your license file will activate LARSA 2000 on that computer only.
To create a locking code, go to our website, www.larsausa.com. If you have not
already registered on our website, do so by clicking the register link at
the top-right of the page. Proceed with these instructions after your
registration has been confirmed.
Log into the website by clicking the log in here link at the top-right
of the page. Enter the email address and password that you used to create your
Larsa website registration. Click Login.
Click the button that reads "LarsaLicense Create Locking Code." When asked
to open or save the file, choose open. (If open is not an option, save the file
to your desktop and run the program from there.)
Follow the on-scren instructions. You will be prompted for your website login
information again.
The last step will be to submit the locking code to Larsa. You may do so
through the program at the last step by choosing "Online Submit" if you are
currently connected to the Internet. Otherwise, click "Send Email" to draft
an email for sending later, or click "Save To Disk" to save the locking code
to a file on your computer, which you can then later attach to an email to
support@larsausa.com.
3. Wait for a License File
After you submit a locking code, please wait until you receive a confirmation
that your license is ready for download. The confirmation will come by email to
the address you specified when creating the locking code.
While you are waiting, you may install the required one-time updates according to
these instructions.
4. Once You Get The Confirmation
The confirmation email may contain your license file attached. If this is
the case, save the license file to your desktop. If the file is not
attached, you will download the license file in a later step.
5. Install LARSA 2000
After you receive the confirmation email, you may install LARSA 2000.
Follow the Standalone Setup instructions,
which will instruct you in installing the license file.
If you already have LARSA 2000 installed, you may activate the license
file, or download your license file, by running the License Configuration program from your start menu: Start > Programs > LARSA 2000 > License Configuration.
Ensure "Larsa License" has been checked.
If your license file has been e-mailed to you, click Import and open the license file saved to your desktop.
If your license file was not included in the confirmation email, click Download, enter your Larsa website login information, and click Get License. If multiple licenses are available to you, choose the appropriate license.
